Publicis Conseil launches Mission to Earth

Published by

A robot reminisces about a world it once knew in a new spot from French agency Publicis Conseil.

Created for construction materials company Saint-Gobain and directed by Wilfrid Brimo, memories of human life are projected onto a screen to convey the message that materials in space make things possible on Earth.

Saint-Gobain's materials are used in space exploration (satellites, rockets, robots and space telescopes for example) but it’s here on Earth where its mission is most important, which is the message the film conveys.

With emotional nostalgia, the robot remembers the well-being and joy of others living together while the film reminds viewers that nothing is more beautiful and important than life on Earth.

The story reveals all the activities of Saint-Gobain with photography magnified by Kasper Tuxen, known for his many collaborations with American film director Gus Van Sant.

The ad launched on TV in France this week and will follow on cinema screens from 13 November before rolling out globally.
